Waterfront campsites often come with higher prices, especially when hookups are involved. Yet there are still places where you can park your RV right near the water without spending much.

 

Across Mississippi, several public campgrounds along lakes and waterways offer electric and water hookups at surprisingly low rates. Many are managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or the National Forest Service, which keeps prices reasonable.

 

If you hold the America the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass, those nightly fees can drop even further. At many federal campgrounds, the pass cuts the price roughly in half.

Blue Bluff Campground sits along the Aberdeen Lake section of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway and offers some of the most scenic shoreline views along the entire waterway. The campground is shaded and positioned close to the water, giving many sites pleasant views across the lake.

 

The campground contains 92 campsites with electric and water hookups. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring with grill, lantern post, and pedestal grill. A nearby beach area, picnic spaces, and access to fishing and swimming make this a popular recreation spot for families and anglers alike.
