# Starlink offers 30% off Roam plans through November 30

Starlink is offering 30% off its Roam internet plans for new customers in select U.S. areas. That brings the 100 GB plan down to $38.50 a month from $55. November 30 is the sign-up deadline. If you get the deal, the discount has no scheduled end date.

[PCMag spotted the offer on November 5](https://tech.yahoo.com/vpn/deals/articles/starlink-offers-50-off-select-183651794.html). A Starlink representative told the publication that the company could end signups earlier in an area if enough customers join to fill local capacity.

## What 30% off looks like on the road

The biggest dollar savings are on Roam Unlimited. At 30% off, the $175 plan comes to $122.50, saving $52.50 a month. But for RVers who don’t need unlimited data, the 300 GB plan offers an interesting comparison: at $56 a month, it would cost just $1 more than the regular price of the 100 GB plan.

I got the 30% off email from Starlink, so I checked the [Roam checkout page](https://starlink.com/us/roam). The 100 GB plan showed up at $38.50 a month, down from [Starlink’s regular U.S. price of $55](https://starlink.com/us/service-plans). The Mini kit was a separate purchase, listed at $149 instead of the usual $249.

## How long can you keep the lower price?

Starlink’s checkout FAQ says the reduced price stays on your plan rather than expiring after a set number of months. The company can still change the monthly service price, even while the discount is active. If it does, Starlink says it will give you 30 days’ notice.

There’s one detail to check if you usually put your RV away for the winter. Starlink’s [guide to pausing service](https://starlink.com/us/support/article/37bb3b47-9525-7224-5f0a-6d016ce26975) says promotional offers can be excluded from Standby Mode, the option travelers use to pause regular service between trips. The November checkout FAQ explains how long the price lasts but leaves the pause question open. If you only need internet during camping season, ask Starlink whether you can pause your specific plan and come back at the discounted rate.

## How to check for the 30% Starlink discount

Starlink sent out emails about the Roam offer, and I got one. When I checked the price, the 100 GB plan showed up at $38.50 a month, down from the [regular $55 rate](https://starlink.com/us/service-plans).

If you didn’t get an email, you can check your address on [Starlink’s Roam order page](https://starlink.com/us/roam). Pick a plan and look at the monthly price under “Service,” not the “Total Due Today” at the top of the page. The Mini kit was listed separately at $149, down from $249. If you see the regular service price, check with Starlink before placing the order.

## How to check for the 30% Starlink discount

Starlink sent out an email about the offer. This is what it looked like. If you got the email, simply click the "Check Availability and Save 30%" button to see if you qualify.

If you didn’t get the email, you can enter your address on [Starlink’s Roam order page](https://starlink.com/us/roam) and select a plan. Look under “Service” for the monthly price before you place the order. The “Total Due Today” at the top is what you’d pay at checkout, not your monthly rate.
