Its also a good idea to have a fire extinguisher accessible outside the RV, like in a compartment or in the tow vehicle if you have one.

::I was coming to say the same thing as Bill. But, I’d still really try to hit an early morning or late at night time and stay on I75. I-285 isnt much better imo and is full of 18 wheelers that go around Atlanta.

::We’ve never taken ours out. I do full charge and disconnect them. I also chekc on them, but in all the years I’ve owned an Rv I’ve never had to charge them. I too live in the northern part of the country.
Not saying this is the right way, but I’ve yet to have an issue.
::It’ll be fine. That said, I feel like no matter how well we protected our canvas material it would inevitably get some moldy spots, which wasnt too hard to get off. Part of the regular maintenance was cleaning the canvas anyways.
::Before we went full time we had a Coachmen v-trec v3. It had a cassette toilet and shower in the unit. I miss how easy it was to haul that thing around lol.
::The trick is finding the right balance between power, quietness, and affordability. A Westinghouse or Wen will provide the best of all worlds, imo.
